Hello this morning

Micah feels so much better this morning. Thank the lord. Cause there is not a worse feeling than for your baby to be sick and you can't just fix it. We are so glad to be home and sleep in our bed we bout can't stand it. Micah feels like eating everything in the house. I guess where he couldn't eat good for those few days now he thinks he needs to make up for it. Lol

Today has been a good day. Micah has been very alert and playful. Thank the lord. I had missed his little noises and cooing so bad.I would have paid money to hear it lol it felt so good. I guess thats one of those mommy things everyone tried to tell me about but you just can't explain it. Like how excited you get over a bowel movement just because it been a little while lol. He is eating better and has gained a ounce back.

Bad night :(

My baby needs prayer he had a really good evening. Then he woke up hungry about three and couldn't quit coughing and throwing up flem for about a hour. It broke my heart he got so weak after but they said it was good he got it up. It's so hard to see his little body suffer and not be able to just fix it. He has had a good appetite today though.

We have had a good evening. Micah has Been cooing and smiling. Thanks for everyone's prayers. Just keep remembering him he needs to come off the oxygen but he's having a hard time with that.

Micah update

We had a good night last night. They tried to turn his oxygen down this morning and they had to turn it backup and do a breathing treatment. So I don't think he is worse but not no better. We really need prayer his little body is just getting weak from all the coughing.

Micah has got better !!! Yeah ! He has been so sick all day. This evening he has woke up smiled and laughed.

With the complements of aunt Erica he has loved his new toy.

Our night was better :) Micah is down to 1/4 liter of oxygen. He still feels bad but he is getting better !

The hardest day of my life !

I know I should start Micah's first blog off on a happier note but I can't with out unloading the past week ! First off as of last wensday Micah was a happy healthy baby boy who went for his first set of shots. (as if that's not hard enough) we wake up at three in the morning Thursday to find micah is sick. I take him back to the doc. To learn he has caught a very common very dangerous virus called RSV. So with follow up visits the doc thinks he is holding his own as of Monday day five of the virus so we go home. Thinking were going to be ok. In the night Micah gets worse and started not waking up and then turning BLUE ! I thought I would die. We rush to the emergency room and his oxygen was way low and they send us to UK. That was this morning and know he has progressed from two liters of oxygen to 1/4 liter. With a lot of suctioning out his nose and mouth he is a lot better. Thank the lord. I saw a picture in the doctors office when I was pregnant that I find myself going back to so many times since he is now here. It said to choose to have a child is to forever deside to have your heart go walking around outside your body and it is so true. A child is the most wonderful life changing experiance anyone could every have !
